Welcome to the Official website of the Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 10019 in Lewiston Maine. We serve the Prince of Peace Parish, our local community and the State of Maine, through our many activities and programs.
Founded by Father Michael J McGivney in 1882 as a fraternal benefit society to assist the families of his parish. The Knights of Columbus has grown to become the largest Catholic Family Fraternal Service Organization with over 1.8 million members worldwide.
The main principals of the order are Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
Often refered to as the strong right arm of the church we are regular people working to make a difference.
